In New Delhi on the 23rd August 2015, it was a great occasion when veterans, upcoming entrepreneurs, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and end users, from across the country came together to explore new ventures, gain insights on the latest trends, and forge partnerships in the energy segment during the Solar Performance Conference 2015.  The conference was organised by Inconwith Associates (http://inconwith.com/), a multi-disciplinary strategic consulting firm providing expert solutions to companies seeking startup, expansion, and profit maximization.

The conference was being organised in line with government’s focus on Prime Minister Narendra Modi raising the target of solar electricity generation from 20,000MW to 100,000MW by 2022 at a cost of $100 billion, the market for everything solar has suddenly come to life.

Ms. Chakshina Bansal, founder, Inconwith Associates stressed on “Solar power generation is renewable, clean and cost effective, but we also need to adapt and it also needs time to develop. Our Prime minister, Mr Narendra Modi has brought a revolution in India Solar industry and it’s our moral duty to take it in every right way.  If today we have poor quality and reliability issues, it won’t last for long and the faith of an investor will go down, honestly it takes decades to re build it again. We are still in policy making phase.  There has to be more transparency and standardization in solar industry, because as the industry matures, developers need to access new ways that require more standardization.”

Many other eminent participants were present at the conference included Mr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Director (HR) SECI, Shri Rakesh Kumar, Director (PS) SECI, Mr. Sunil Gupta, Founder Chairman of Sarc Associates. The conference saw a huge involvement from Solar Power Companies like Dr. Jatender Singhla , BORG Energy, India Head (Domestic), Hero Electric Dealer Mr. R.K. Girotra along with other prominent upcoming entrepreneurs, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and end users, from across the country, to explore new ventures, gain insights on the latest trends, and forge partnerships in the energy segment.

Mr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Director (HR) SECI spoke on Standardization of Solar Products in India whereas Dr. Jatender Singhla , BORG Energy, India Head (Domestic) shares information on Community and penetration of solar industry.

Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Director (PS) SECI informs on Feasibility of solar products in India and Mr. Sunil Gupta, Founder Chairman of Sarc Associates spoke on sensitive topic Unlocking solar finance and taxation in India

Senior Journalist like Sh. Purushottam Bhadauria also participated in the conference to discuss the role of media and celebrities in spreading awareness on usage of Solar Products in Indian society.

The conference aimed for forward-thinking investors looking forward to maximize their profits by energy conservation. Generation from solar PV is increasingly attractive to people who want to reduce electricity bills and increase their green credentials. Electricity rates are not getting any cheaper, which make it an important worry area for anybody living in India. To help investors decide on whether they should or not to invest in a solar electric systems and solar products, a comparison of the durability, cost effectiveness coupled with latest state government initiatives can be discussed and guided on this platform.

Stress was laid on spreading the awareness of usage of Solar Energy in a common man’s daily life and also its utilization in the Agricultural Sector. Many options were illustrated through billboards and also during the presentations by the eminent speakers.
