Milkshakes – Traditional or with liquor – have your choice at Barcelos New Delhi-

IMG_2558It was the occasion of yet another launch and this time it was for people with sweet tooths(s).It looks as if it has become a habit of the South African casual dining restaurant, Barcelos to surprise its clients with regular new introductions to its well crafted menu.

Earlier in the current year Barcelos revolutionized the concept of the ‘burger’ by presenting it in different colors! Then it was the turn of Sangaria and salads in different flavours. This time it was the introduction of Barcelos own brand of innovation in Milk Shakes.

Milk shakes have always been my favourites- they fill me up, they are a tasty source of nutrition and delicious. It was a feast for my eyes as well as my taste buds in form of the most creative collection of milkshakes. And it was so hard to select from the 16 different varieties of  traditional milkshakes, and 7 liquor based milk shakes.

I ordered 4 different shakes, and loved the Brownie shake the most. It was smooth, creamy, delicious and filling. The Mixed Berries shake, Date with Orange and Ferraro Rocher were also creamy and tasty. Not very heavy on your pockets they are priced at Rs. 225 for normal ones and Rs 325 for the Boozy (liquor based) Shakes. I didnt taste the boozy ones but liked the way they were titled,  like Tiramisu, Roasted Almond & Dark Chocolate and Irish Cream priced at Rs.325.

In case you have missed the earlier launches by Barcelos, I have included the links to my reviews for an enchanting meal and milk shake time. IMG_2568
