India is home to more than 3000 brands. Franchising the products of a brand to promote and accelerate the sales has been a tried for a long time in the business circles. Finding a good Business partner has always been an issue of great discussion and concern.
It’s a formation of a life time relation, just like a bonding in marriage. It takes a lot from both sides. A lot of understandings, adjustments and changes in an already existing structure need to be taken for the relation to stay alive for better returns to both the parties.
It is a process of utilizing all the capabilities of the concerned partners – both have something and both have to share and use their expertise. For the brand giant – it is promoting his product in territories where the partner already has an established market, and for the business partner – it is the brand name that helps in boosting his sales – thereby attaining better returns.
