@The Project, Hauz Khas Village

I have a special relation with The Project, at HKV New Delhi. I reviewed the food at the Project some months back and when I visited again with my kids, they also loved it. The Project has a lot of veggies dishes on the menu. The review of the Project was one of my startup venture in Food reviewing, so it will always have a special corner in my heart.

Another chance to visit the Project again, and although it was on a Wednesday, the day I normally observe a Fast; I made it sure to go and enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance. Also I have never visited the restaurant in evenings and also the outdoor sittings; so it was an added attraction.

Even in the cold evenings of Delhi, the outdoors sittings had a hypnotic pull and the heating arrangements made by the management were perfect enough to make the environs warm.  The greenery around and the lights were creating a mesmerizing atmosphere – but personally would have preferred more normal lighting in place of the fluorescent and bluish lights that they have.

There was an open air bar set up specially for us and also the outdoor kitchen was constantly serving appetizers for us. Some favourites from the old menu and also a few new additions kept everyone busy. Though I wasn’t eating anything – I was happy watching fellow bloggers having a nice time. For me, it was so nice to meet some old acquaintances after a long time, and we recalled some sweet memories from past.

As has been reported in my earlier review blog (https://exatraveller.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/fine-dining-at-the-project-at-park-balluchi-hkv-new-delhi/), the menu focused mostly on traditional Italian and Indian dishes along with a few Mediterranean and continental delicacies.

The waiters regularly kept on bringing platters with Banarasi seekh kabab, vegetable & cottage cheese skewers, Achari paneer tikka, the Mozzarella bombs, and a few non-vegetarian favourites like chicken tikkas, fish tikkas, and also the new addition Coloured Burgers. Selected variety of pizzas were also on offer.

I once again missed trying the Dessert Pizzas at the Project and I guess I have to make a visit again to enjoy those. And I am looking to do so very soon and have kept this as one of my new year resolutions for 2016.

Here are my ratings for The Project at The Park Balluchi,

Décor : 4/5   Hospitality : 3.5/5    Budget : 3/5        Location : 4.5/5
