Sector 29, Gurugram is eagerly waiting for the grand launch of the Confluence of two greatest cultures of the world.
Very well established names in the food industry, not only in India but abroad too, Veda and Djinggs have come together to create the fusion of each of these diverse cultures’ mouthwatering cuisines. The amazing project, a thoughtful concept by Mr Alok Aggarwal, owner of Veda will soon offer the exquisite dishes from the two most ancient and diverse culinary secrets of India and China.
We all love Chinese food, but still our appetite gets satisfied after eating our own Desi food. So here at Veda & Djinggs – you get best of both the worlds under one roof. Located right in the heart of the now famous food heaven in Gurgaon, it has a great décor and the ambiance is captivating. Amusing designs and artifacts from both the cultures are the highlight of the décor. It has a décor of a modern restaurant serving very carefully chosen and crafted dishes.
This I am sure is going to be one of the most sought after address for fine dining. We were here recently to attend a media launch on 10th August 2016 and we tasted the delicacies which soon will be the talk of the town.
To satisfy our Indian palate we tasted Paneer Roomani Tikka, Veda Palak Patta Chat, Dahi ke kebab and others for starters and Veda Dal, Paneer Kundan Kaliyan etc. and sides like assorted Indian breads and steamed rice for the main course. For the desserts we had the traditional Shahi Tukda. This Shahi tukda is a must for every visitor.
Whereas for the oriental appetite, we tried a few delicious oriental offerings like Pokchoy Spinach Cristal Dumplings, French Beans dry chilli & garlic, Veggie fried noodles, and a few other delectable dishes. An exquisite oriental dessert Darsan with vanilla ice cream was served with a sweet smile.
This was a pre-launch media event, so we will be posting a detailed review on the food later on. In the meanwhile Veda-Djinggs will be opening soon – so make your plans and reservations and be the first ones to try out the Confluence of two Cultures and Cuisines.
A special mention: The media event was on Wednesday, a day when I normally keep fast. Knowing this, the entire team at Veda-Djinggs got busy and I was served special juices with a Fruit platter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Guys.
