ASUS Z3nvolution India

AsusTeK Computer Inc., or simply ASUS, has always surprised me with their serious engineering. The first ever motherboard used for my Desktop was that of ASUS. The brand is always in search of the Incredible. In addition, since the tech giants have entered the digital era with their super innovative models of Smartphone, tablets and laptops, I have become a bigger admirer.

Recently I attended the press meat of ASUS Zenvolution in India. At the meet, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen announced the availability of the new ZenFone 3 Series of SmartPhones, ZenBook 3 (an ultra-sleek and lightweight notebook with a premium aluminum design) and ASUS Transformer 3 Pro (the world’s most versatile PC) in India. India now has the distinction of one of the first countries in the world to be Z3nvolutionised.

The press meet was also one of the best-planned and executed events. Laser light show, acrobatics, glamorous models displaying the latest products while walking the ramp and the show stealer of the day with ASUS’s brand ambassador, bollywood actress Ms. Sonakshi Sinha walking the ramp as the showstopper for a fashion show were the highlights of the event. The entire glittering event was organised by ASUS in association with designer-duo Shivan & Narresh,

“The highly anticipated ZenFone 3 Series has become a global sensation after its debut at Computex this year. The range reflects the ASUS design philosophy and combines all the elements that users look for in a smartphone,” said Mr. Shen. “We are ecstatic to introduce the ZenFone 3 Series, which redefines luxury with superior performance and design, to consumers in India, one of our priority markets globally.”

Also present at the event was Mr. Sandeep Aurora, Director – Marketing and Market Development, Intel South Asia, said, “The almost 30-year old collaboration between ASUS and Intel has brought to market a range of innovative state-of-the-art PCs and devices. We are confident that the latest Asus devices including the new ZenBook 3 and Transformer 3 family powered by Intel Core processors will deliver amazing new computing experiences through enhanced performance, incredible portability, and efficiency in power consumption”

NOTE:

My thoughts on the SmartPhone with ultra advanced camera features and also the individual reviews will available after I review atleast one of the new products personally and have tried the camera features on the new ZenPhone3 as compared to my DSLR.

Well, I am not sure about other brands, but I was thoroughly satisfied with the camera features on ZenPhone Zoom. Let me now wait and see how the features on this new series perform.

The news from the camera industry is that SmartPhones are helping to boost the sales of DSLRs in the market. SmartPhones ignite the creative minds of users but when they are not fully satisfied with the performance – they move towards DSLR, and hence this recent boost in sales.

So I am waiting to acquire one of the new models and try it out and then post a detailed report. Till then Thanks a lot for going through this report.  Ciaos……
