Hiewa (means Peace in Japanese) Heaven the resort is certainly a peaceful getawya just like what Heaven could be. The name has been assigned by its owner, Ms Shanti, who lives in Japan. It is one the recent properties that have come up in Jaipur and is soon going to be the most sought after Destination Wedding locations in the country.
As soon as I entered the main building, I got hooked on by the minimalistic, simple and elegant designs, and the peaceful ambiance. The tastefully designed large crystal chandelier hanging from the first floor caught my attention and I just stood there and adored the masterpiece, as I was given the traditional Rajasthani style welcome by applying a Tika on my forehead and a floral garland.
The hotel is located out of the city on Agra Road and the aesthetically pleasing surroundings refresh the mind of the visitor. The hotel has three floors and each floor have a coffee shop /get together area with glass walls all around with a front property view. Three types of accommodation are offered – Deluxe, Super Deluxe Suites and Swiss Tents.
Simply done interiors in ethnic tone with lots of natural and artificial plant all around the hotel, in the lobby, dining halls, swimming pool area etc. make the guest always feel fresh. High quality personalized service with focus on every detail is one of the main features of the hotel, taking the guest to an unparalleled level of service excellence. Even if a guest gets delayed in his City work and is late for the meals, they serve food with same zest and smile (even 2-3 hrs delay).
I was hosted in the main building in the deluxe rooms which had simple but contemporary interiors with a balcony attached and had a view of the Aravalli hills. The room was quite spacious like all the other rooms which have lots of moving space, and planned with a host of innovative features. All the rooms in the hotel feature landscape windows that bathe every room with abundant daylight offering a view of the serene reflection of hills, swimming pool and landscaped outside of the hotel.
The hotel has all the facility for grandeur weddings, from saloon to caterers to decorators and great venues for different functions. They let you book only the resort property also and allow you to take care of your catering and decorations yourself.
Not only for weddings, it is a perfect place for any other business events, product launches etc.. It is one of the leading hotels of India which offers an environment, perfectly designed for successful meetings and events. The hotel is best for the couples, family, professionals or even college students looking for a quick getaway.
Heiwa Heaven has 50 luxury room and 15 Swiss tents (Rainforest Glam Camps) for accommodation, a barbeque area, Conference Hall, Banquet Hall, Game Zone, Spa, Swimming Pool, Gym and offers you great 100% Vegetarian dining options. They also provide free Parking and free Wi-Fi (but we found the WIFI connectivity quite erratic).
The area next to dining room and the swimming pool is the high point of the hotel with a mini sitting area connected to it where one can sit and enjoy food. Next to the pool area there are a few stairs that take you to Swiss tent area and the first tent is converted into spa area. Front of the main building is quite beautiful with landscaping with fountains and a park.
Dining area also opens in a big spacious area with folk motifs in terracotta on the walls and used for cultural programs during the events.
They have a huge adventure sports area and I took the tractor cart to go there. They have a Zipline, which gives a ½ minute adventure feeling. I took a lot of selfies with the decorative frames, a scooter with kitsch art paint, and the zombie balls. I personally liked the indoor games area essentially for kids, with a pool table, fairy tale story poster, caroms, badminton court etc. Bicycles are also available if you love cycling. The ride on the Mud Bike was exhilarating.
There also is a banquet hall with huge open area attached to it, and is used for parties, wedding functions, conferences etc. I was informed that the hotel is already a very well known name on the Destination wedding circuits and they were fully booked for the next three months.
On the second day of our stay, after a sumptuous vegetarian breakfast, three of us from our team set out for the city tour of Jaipur and returned after having a lovely time at the Amer Fort and some shopping in the famous Johari Bazar. We were to leave back for Delhi in the evening, so after having lunch in the dining hall, I retired back to my room, packed up and we finally left in the late evening hours with a promise to the manager and staff of a Re-visit very soon.
